Dear Adopt A School:

Hello, I am Robby Lichtenberg, one of your co-ordinators for some schools in north Bali. Since 10 years I visit some villages and help the people as good as I can.  I was born in Malang, East Java and grown up in Germany.

Since 2003 Adopt A School / Mrs. Susan Cromb supported me with UNCOUNTABLE and VERY VALUABLE donation. Thank you Adopt-A-School.  With your help, we are realizing the following projects:

• Fresh Water - for the Village of Alasangker which has 180 families - 10 km from Singaraja in the North of Bali.  Also for Pegadungan Primary School Nr. 2 - and 66 families - 6 km from Singaraja
• Rainwater Collection - for Rendetin Primary School Nr. 3 - Bontihing - 35 km from Singaraja 
  English lessons for some rural schools.
• Scholarship for many poor students
• Jobs for some poor families - sewing, wood carving, crocheting, souvenirs production etc.
• Many books, color pencils, used clothes, used shoes, etc.

Without your support it is impossible for me to help the villages. Thank you again.

If you come to Bali and have one or two days time, please come with me and visit the villages.  You can see (or do) how the farmers plant the rice, climb a coconut tree (please do not do it) etc.  You can even be ' a teacher ' and teach the students English, in the same time you can learn Indonesian language too.
